Editing Asset Custodian Groups

Before you begin: Be ready with your Organization Code.

Access the Asset Custodian Group

  1. Log into UAccess Financials.
  2. In the Navigation bar, select the Jump To... field, and type the word Group.
  3. Select Group to open the Group lookup screen.
  4. In Group Name field, key in asterisks before and after the Organization Code.
    1. Ex: *7702*
  5. Select Search.
    1. If the intended Asset Custodian group for your Organization Code is not displayed, stop here and contact the Property Management team.
  6. Click edit for your Group Name to open the Group document.

Add a Member to a Group

  1. In the Description field, enter the intended action and your Organization Code.
    1. Example: Adding an Asset Custodian for 7702
  2. Any additional information to justify the action can be entered in the Explanation field.
  3. Under the Add Member section:
    1. Verify the Type Code is defaulted to Principle.
    2. Select the Magnifying Glass icon next to the Member Identifier field to open the Person Lookup Screen.
    3. In the First Name and Last Name Fields, use asterisks after names for best results.
      1. Example: First Name: Wilbur*
      2. Example: Last Name: Wildcat*
      3. If no results are displayed, shorten the number of characters in the First Name and Last Name fields to broaden the search.
    4. Click Return Value for the intended person to return to the Group document where the results will automatically be populated in the Add Member line.
    5. If the member is a Primary Asset Custodian, set the Active To Dt to 1/1/2099.
    6. Select Add.
    7. Select Submit.

Remove a Member from a Group

  1. In the Description field, enter the intended action and your Organization Code.
    1. Example: Removing an Asset Custodian for 7702
  2. Any additional information to justify the action can be entered in the Explanation field.
  3. Click Inactivate for the intended person.
  4. Select Submit.

Your request will be routed to the Property Management Team for approval.
