Capital

All PCDO documents will request the user to choose "Yes" or "No" when processing capital transactions (any object code 7xxx/5750/5751) If "Yes" is selected, the initiator is returned the document to continue processing. If "No" is selected, the accounting lines will be de-selected.

When using a Capital Object Code, the Accounting Lines for Capitalization tab is required. Users will then be directed to fill in and distribute accounting lines to either the Create Asset or Modify Asset tabs. This new process applies to the following documents:

-Purchasing Card
-Service Billing

Enable the ability to send a Read Notes request to all Financials documents. When the user types out the full word "vendor" the results/suggestions are there but the links aren't displayed appropriately. Instead, use "ven" or navigate using the menu on the left. This is only an issue in the Chrome browser. An alternative work around is to use IE/Edge browser(s).

Purchasing

Accounting lines in REQS, PO, APO now have amount fields. Users can enter either percentages for more than one account or input dollars with no percentages on an accounting line. A default percentage of 100 should appear when manually entering accounting lines within a requisition. New functionality UPK Training
Departments will not be able to see the PO number until after the Contract Manager has finalized the Purchase Order. As an alternative, users are able to go to the Related Documents tab on the Requisition Document and click on the "*******" PO Link. This will take them to the PO where they can see the status of the PO and the name of the Contract Manager. See More

Purchasing/Accounts Payable

Line items on POs, POAs, Requisitions and PREQs no longer have an expand all button in order to review the accounts. Users should now use the Account Summary tab to review all accounts used on the PURAP doc. It breaks down by account number then indicates which line item it is on.
