The rules
associated with obtaining and spending money are sometimes complex and
frustrating, but they were written to help us comply with
Federal and State regulations and industry requirements.
Most of you have support staff available to interpret and apply the rules. Have THEM learn the details, but you should at least know the general guidelines. If you will be doing anything new or different, check into the possible implications before taking action. That way, things can be processed properly the first time. Properly prepared and supported documents are rarely delayed or returned. |
