Change in FSO Training Registration

FSO is pleased to announce a change in the registration process for training offered by the Financial Services Office (FSO), Purchasing and Contracting Services (PACS), and Sponsored Project Services (SPS).  Previously, registration for training took place through FSO’s Information Services Web (ISW).  In an effort to make training easier to access, courses offered by these entities are now found on the UITS Workshops page at workshops.arizona.edu.  Courses are listed in the Partner Department Workshops section in the middle of the page.  Examples of courses affected include Travel, Cash Handling and various Sponsored Projects training courses.  This does not affect courses already offered by the UITS Workshops and Training Team (WaTT).

When you find a workshop in which you are interested, click on the title to go to the description.  You may register for a session or, if no sessions are listed, click on the Training Request Form to notify the instructor of your interest.  You will receive an automated email of your registration or you will be contacted by the instructor or the FSO Outreach Team.

If you were previously on an existing waiting list for a course, you will be contacted to determine if you are still interested in the course.

The advantages of moving to the Workshops page include improved registration process with email notifications and reminders, better tracking of courses you have attended, and one location to find needed training.  We have not yet created a consolidated history of courses taken and will notify campus when this is available.

If you have any questions concerning this change in the registration process for FSO, PACS and SPS offered classes, please contact FSO Outreach at 626-3090 or outreach [at] fso [dot] arizona [dot] edu.
