The wording or authorized designated individual has been added
to the signature requirements in the
Requesting Advances section as
follows. And the note has been changed to reflect this change.
The Check Request must be signed by the employee responsible for the
advance; the dean, department head, or authorized designated individual;
and the principal investigator.
NOTE: The employee responsible for the advance may not delegate their
signature. The Principal Investigator's signature may be delegated, as
long as he or she is not the payee.
