On Line Updates - 2/13/97The first two sentences in paragraph 4 have been replaced with the following:Formal competitive bidding and the issuance of a purchase order to the successful moving vendor by the Purchasing Department is required *only* if the moving expenses will equal or exceed $25,000. The hiring department must create a dPR (purchase requisition) which specifies the moving requirements so that Purchasing can initiate the bidding process. The hiring department should contact Purchasing for any assistance necessary to complete this mandatory procedure.
