Charles E. Ingram began his appointment with Financial Services at the University of Arizona in January 2001. In his current position, Mr. Ingram leads the Financial Services Office (FSO) which has approximately 160 FTE, and is responsible for receipting, accounting and disbursing funds of approximately $1.4 billion per fiscal year for the University. The Comptroller, Director of Capital Finance, Investment Officer/Treasury function, Bursar and Director of Operations all report to Mr. Ingram, along with administrative and computing support staff. Mr. Ingram also serves as the Chair of the University Investment Committee, which manages the operating cash and endowments for the institution.

 

Prior to assuming his current position, Charles Ingram accumulated 17 years experience working with the University’s Budget Office, including serving as Associate Budget Officer. Mr. Ingram is and has been an active member on multiple University committees, as well as a member of NACUBO (National Association of College and University Business Officers) and WACUBO (Western Association of College and University Business Officers).

 

As the incoming WACUBO President for 2010-2011, Mr. Ingram currently serves on the NACUBO Board of Directors. In 2008-2009 Mr. Ingram served as the WACUBO representative on the NACUBO Research Constituent Council, and for 2009-2010 he is a member of NACUBO’s Finance and Audit Committee.

 

Currently Mr. Ingram serves on the WACUBO Board as the First Vice President and as chair of WACUBO’s 2010 Finance Committee. As part of his involvement with WACUBO, Mr. Ingram has held positions as the 2008-2009 Program Committee Chair, the 2007-2008 Comprehensive/Doctoral/Research Institutions Committee Chair, and as a past WACUBO treasurer, member on multiple WACUBO committees, and as a lecturer for various WACUBO events.

 

Mr. Ingram received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 1981, and a Masters of Arts degree in Organizational Management in 1994.
